My first assignments came in 2007 as a freelancer in the Baltimore-D.C. area, thanks to the mentorship of photographer Jim Burger. I have since been published by Forbes and Classic Boat among others, after interning with National Geographic's Image Collection and working there briefly before completing my undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies.

I have spent much of the last decade working with coastal non-profits and environmental education programs including time as a National Park Service Ranger in Acadia, sailing through Hawaii's Papahanaumokuakea National Marine Sanctuary with native students, racing an America's Cup yacht in San Francisco Bay, going from the Atlantic Ocean as far west as navigable in a 160 ft. tall ship in the Great Lakes, and teaching students environmental narratives from the Southern California coast, to the Chesapeake Bay, and now the greater New England and Gulf of Maine areas.

Home is Rockland Maine, where I spend most of my time as the Regional Outreach Coordinator for the Natural Resources Council of Maine, covering Penobscot and Frenchman Bays.
